Soft Tissue Therapy

Rapid Release - Soft Tissue Therapy (aka "Helga")

What does soft tissue therapy do?

Soft tissue therapy helps to gently break up scar tissue that can form in the body. This scar tissue forms from daily stressors on the body, surgery, and other traumas. This scar tissue can form adhesions that can cause even deeper problems. These adhesions can affect nerves, limit the range of motion, and cause numbness and pain. Soft tissue therapy can break down these adhesions and reverse these negative effects.

Soft tissue therapy can help with many of these scar tissue problems:

  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Tendonosis
  • Muscle Spasms
  • Trapper Nerves
  • Range of Motion
  • Contractures
  • Back, Shoulder, and Ankle pain
  • Headaches
  • Knee Problems
  • Tennis Elbow

True Interferential Therapy

How it works

True interferential current therapy is a good way to help supplement the chiropractic adjustment. It reduce pain, stimulates the muscle to help relax it, Increases blood flow to promote healing and can reduce inflammation. It does this by utilizing a low frequency electrical stimulation of the nerves without as much of the unpleasent side effect of associated pain that other electrical therapies possess.

Therapeutic Ultrasound

Differing from diagnostic ultrasound which is used to see inside of the body therapeutic ultrasound is utilizing the healing benefits of ultrasound. By producing a deep heating effect as well as introducing energy into the body the ultrasound is able to help heal a variety of soft tissues including muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints.
